VP Cheney Speaketh With Forked Tongue

This is precious! This is a video clip that is now up on youtube of an interview VP Dick Cheney gave in 1994 for C-SPAN stating the reason why poppa Bush's admin. DID NOT invade and occupy Iraq as so many were urging at that time. He makes, very ironically, the same exact argument myself and many other true conservatives made in the run up to the current Iraq war and now occupation. While its good to be vindicated, it is an instance where one doesn't enjoy being right. Over 1 million Iraqi civilians are now dead as a direct result of the neocon insanity. There is really only a few things that we as Americans can and should do. First is to impeach the entire bush criminal neocon gang. Second, once removed from office, an official apology needs to be released to the world for their crimes. Third, the whole neocon criminal gang that has gone a long way to destroying the country domestically and has soiled our reputation around the world needs to be brought over to stand trial at the Haig for their war crimes and if found guilty, suffer the appropriate punishment for their treason against the people of the US and their mass murder around the world. This must happen before they duplicate their insanity in Iran, in a massive grab of that nation's oil wealth. Not doing so, we as Americans will run the grave risk of a coalition of nations such as Russia, China and others bombing and invading this country in order to stop the neocon insanity. The only way these political maggots will be able to get away with another illagle war and occupation will be to have another false flag event like 9-11 in order to get the masses whipped up enough to go along with their plans of world domination. It comes down to the old adage of pay me now or pay a whole lot more later if nothing is done. The future of our once great nation is in dire peril. It is up to every American who is awake and understands what's at stake to wake up others so that the current war criminal, fascist, neocon crazies can be stopped before they destroy what is left of the USA. If this video is not enough to convince you, in 1998, former President George Bush and Brent Scowcroft, National Security Advisor during the Bush administration, collaborated on the book A World Transformed, a political history covering significant world events which occurred during the first three years of Bush's presidency (1989-1991): the collapse of the Soviet empire, the unification of Germany, Tiananmen Square, and the Gulf War. In Chapter 19, which discusses the aftermath of the 1991 Gulf War (also known as "Desert Storm," the military operation to liberate Kuwait from occupation by invading Iraqi forces), they wrote: "Trying to eliminate Saddam, extending the ground war into an occupation of Iraq, would have violated our guideline about not changing objectives in midstream, engaging in "mission creep," and would have incurred incalculable human and political costs. Apprehending him was probably impossible. We had been unable to find Noriega in Panama, which we knew intimately. We would have been forced to occupy Baghdad and, in effect, rule Iraq. The coalition would instantly have collapsed, the Arabs deserting it in anger and other allies pulling out as well. Under the circumstances, there was no viable "exit strategy" we could see, violating another of our principles. Furthermore, we had been self-consciously trying to set a pattern for handling aggression in the post-Cold War world. Going in and occupying Iraq, thus unilaterally exceeding the United Nations' mandate, would have destroyed the precedent of international response to aggression that we hoped to establish. Had we gone the invasion route, the United States could conceivably still be an occupying power in a bitterly hostile land. It would have been a dramatically different — and perhaps barren — outcome. " I hope this gives you something to think about and shows how this war for the middle east's oil resources was based on outright lies and manipulation of the American people through the events of 9-11 and the corporate controlled media.
