Who is Pat Robertson?
I quote the entire article (no author) here below. I hope that whoever wrote it doesn't mind. It is certainly worth reading and quite interesting ... although I don't know how reliable the information is. Some of the information in the article is apparently based on a book by Rob Boston entitled The Most Dangerous Man in America? Pat Robertson and the Rise of the Christian Coalition.
"That's right, even Pat Robertson has friends. Three of them include the now-deceased dictator of Zaire Mobutu Sese Seko (also known as the Great Leopard), Jorge Serrano, former dictator of Guatemala, and Frederick Chiluba, the ruler of Zambia. Mobutu was a sadistic, murderous, dictator who kept his country's people in poverty while he became one the richest men in the world. He could have cured all of his nation's ills with a personal check. Under his rule, Zaire was a country with very little personal freedom; public demonstrations were illegal, journalists were murdered by the state, and most religious groups were banned. The US State Department banned Mobutu from the country after he applied for a visa to come to Washington and improve his image. Why would Pat support such a man? In a word, money. Zaire is a resource-rich country, and Pat saw an opportunity to partner with Mobutu to start a diamond mining operation. Pat started a company called the African Development Company, and began shipping diamond mining equipment to Zaire using the non-profit CBN's Operation Blessing aircraft. Check out the news page for more on this. Meanwhile, he also tried to get the State Department to lift the ban on Mobutu's visa. Many people tried to get Robertson to stop his support of Mobutu, but he refused. Instead, he became very friendly with Mobutu; at one point, he flew to Zaire on Mobutu's jet, took in a cruise on his yacht, and dined at the presidential mansion. Fortunately enough, the ADC was a failure, and Mobutu is now dead after being deposed by a rebellion. Jorge Serrano was president of Guatemala, the protege of dictator General Rios Montt. In The New World Order, Robertson had this to say about Serrano: 'Serrano continues the enlightened leadership of his patron, former President Rios Montt, who insisted on honesty in government and then had every key official sign a pledge that read, :I will not steal; I will not lie; I will not abuse.' Contrast this to what Amnesty International had to say about Rios Montt's 'enlightened' leadership: 'In just the four months of Gen. Rios Montt's rule, Amnesty International had documented more than 2,000 extrajudicial killings attributed to the Guatemalan army. Furthermore, these killings were done in horrible ways: people of all ages were not only shot to death, they were burned alive, hacked to death, disemboweled, drowned, beheaded. Small children were smashed against rocks or bayoneted to death.' Two months after Montt's rise to power, Catholic bishops in Guatemala stated 'Numerous families have perished, vilely murdered. Not even the lives of old people, pregnant women, or innocent children were respected. Never in our national history has it come to such extremes.' The story of Frederick Chiluba is also an interesting one. The President of Zambia since 1991, he declared that Zambia would henceforth be a Christian nation. The public school system became Christian-only, despite the existence of a sizable minority of Muslims and Hindus in the country. In response to their need for education, Chiluba simply suggested that they open up their own schools. The national TV and radio stations also turned to all Christian programming. Robertson did an interview with Chiluba on the 700 Club in 1995, telling him 'Your country is not only the standard for Africa but for the rest of the world.' Afterward, he asked his audience 'Wouldn't you love to have someone like that as President of the United States of America?' Robertson's greed and fanaticism have led him to acquaint himself with a strange bunch. It is apparent that he will befriend anyone who can either make him some money or supports his theocratic goals. How Pat can on the one hand say that he doesn't want a theocracy, and then call a theocracy a model for the world is beyond me."
Who is Pat Robertson?
Pat Robertson is founder of CBN (Christian Broadcasting News) ... and is founder of several business ventures and projects. According to some of his own websites:
"Robertson is founder and president of the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) ... Robertson was selected by Newsweek magazine as one of America's 100 Cultural Elite."
"Heros: Jesus Christ, George Washington"
His CBN website states (under "Spiritual Life"):
"Use every piece of God's armor to resist the enemy in the time of evil, so that after the battle you will still be standing firm. (Ephesians 6:13 NLT)"
A USA Today article, posted in January 2004 states:
"Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson said Friday he believes God has told him President Bush will be re-elected in a 'blowout' in November.'I really believe I'm hearing from the Lord it's going to be like a blowout election in 2004. It's shaping up that way.' Robertson told viewers he spent several days in prayer at the end of 2003. 'The Lord has just blessed him,' Robertson said of Bush. 'I mean, he could make terrible mistakes and comes out of it. It doesn't make any difference what he does, good or bad, God picks him up because he's a man of prayer and God's blessing him.' "
"Robertson, in an interview with CNN that aired Tuesday night, said God had told him the war would be messy and a disaster."
Recently, Robertson said:
"There was a popular coup that overthrew him [Chavez]. And what did the United States State Department do about it? Virtually nothing. And as a result, within about 48 hours that coup was broken; Chavez was back in power, but we had a chance to move in. He has destroyed the Venezuelan economy, and he's going to make that a launching pad for communist infiltration and Muslim extremism all over the continent. You know, I don't know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we're trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it. It's a whole lot cheaper than starting a war. And I don't think any oil shipments will stop. But this man is a terrific danger and the United ... This is in our sphere of influence, so we can't let this happen. We have the Monroe Doctrine, we have other doctrines that we have announced. And without question, this is a dangerous enemy to our south, controlling a huge pool of oil, that could hurt us very badly. We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don't need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."
Who or what is Pat Robertson?

- He predicted that the Iraq invasion was to be "messy and a disaster."
- He calls for the assassination of Chavez.
If you claimed to be a "Cultural Elite" and "humanitarian" "Christian" "religious" broadcaster whose hero is Jesus Christ and if you publicly called for the assassination of Bush, you would be considered either a raving lunatic or a terrorist ... and you would be arrested, handcuffed and jailed immediately.
If you declared that God blessed Hitler even if he did bad things, you would be considered an anti-Semitic racist pig ... and you would never hear the end of the story.
If you walked around saying that God speaks to you, you would be put away in a mental institution.
If you operated a center for "law" and "justice" and called for the assassination of Bush, you would be kicked out of your own law firm.
If you made a prediction that the invasion of Iraq was to be messy and a disaster, you would be considered at complete imbecile.
If you were a "Christian" and you publicly called for the assassination of a human being who is doing everything possible to enhance the lives of the poorer 80% Venezuelan majority, you would be immediately booted out of Heaven ... and put on a one-way trip to Hell.
Tonight, I hear on the local news that most people do not take Pat Robertson's comments about Chavez seriously ... because he has a history of saying strange things.
I take it very seriously.
He has a large following ... and if they follow him, they must believe what he says. If they believe what he says, then they must also be as ill as he is. If they are as ill as he is, they are capable of anything.
These are dangerous people!
According to information on the internet, Pat Robertson has a following of about 7 million! The USA has a population of about 300 million. If half are adults (150 million), then Robertson's following represents about 5% of the adult population in the USA ... that is, one in every 20 adults! This is a huge number ... and very scary. One can conclude that 1 in 20 USA adults are following the ravings of a madman, a criminal and a terrorist!
What is Pat Robertson?
He is the epitome of a self-described whiter-skinned "God-given" people gone rotten. Not surprisingly, many whiter-skinned US "Christians" support the invasion of Iraq ... is it because Bush also hears voices?
According to a USA Today article of April 2003:
"Bush believes he was called by God to lead the nation at this time, says Commerce Secretary Don Evans, a close friend who talks with Bush every day."
We have two leaders of US society hearing voices and believing that God talks to them. Both are also paranoid. Typically, these are symptoms of schizophrenia.
Based on lies, one wages war against a country in order to control oil supplies ... assassinating and maiming thousands of innocent people along the way. The other, based on lies, publicly calls for the assassination of a democratically-elected leader who has an estimated 70% support from his people.
Both do it in the name of God!
If they are doing the work of God, where is Satan?
I don't see anything more overtly evil than the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan in recent times. I don't see anything more latently evil than publicly calling for the assassination of person, especially when one doesn't know the person and when one makes the call based on hearsay and rumors.
Bush and Robertson are Satan's headmen in a subversive worldwide insurgency ... masquerading as God's servants.
As I finish this article, I receive another email with a link to the Borowitz Report which published (today) an additional article about Roberston's continued terrorist crusade against Chavez. I quote form it here:
"One day after Pat Robertson called for the U.S. to assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, the televangelist raised the ante again today, urging the U.S. to covet President Chavez wife ... Speaking on the television program he hosts, 'The 700 Club,' Mr. Robertson lashed out at the Venezuelan strongman once more, telling his audience, 'It's high time that the United States coveted Hugo Chavez' wife.' Warming to his topic, the opinionated preacher added, 'And while we're at it, we should covet his house, his manservant, his maidservant, his ox and his ass, for that matter.' ... Mr. Robertson indicated that all of the coveting he referred to would not require a war, arguing that it could be all done through the use of covert operatives within Venezuela."
Robertson, the quack, is at the least doing two things efficiently. He is showing the true face of Satan and he is giving publicity to Chavez. Anyone in their right mind can easily compare what Robertson says about Chavez with reality and come to a clear conclusion that Robertson is a full-fledged manipulator ... or a raving lunatic ... or a psychopath ... or all three.
According to his own website, Robertson's full name is : Marion Gordon "Pat" Robertson. If you shuffle the letters, you get:
GOD'S NO-PAIN TERROR ROBOT-MAN
Describes him quite well, I think.
