Chavez Attends Venezuela-Inter Milan Friendly

CARACAS, Oct. 17 (Xinhuanet) -- Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez was guest of honour at a friendly game between Venezuelan team Vinotinto (red wine) and Milanese team Inter which took place in Italy on Monday.     Chavez greeted the players in Milan's Giusseppe Meazza stadium,where the friendly game was played, according to information from Italian sources, received in Caracas. The game had 30 minute halves instead of the usual 45 minutes each way.     The visit by the head of state to the friendly game in Milan was part of an official tour of seven days which will last until Wednesday October 19. Chavez is in Europe to attend the 15th Ibero American Summit, which took place in Madrid, and also to sign bilateral agreements.
